Another long day has finally come to an end.. whew.. today my attachment started at 7am, as usual when i do morning shift, i got to rush for the very first train down to orchard, then as all of u know, the morning is real dark, cant even see the moon. :'(.. today i didnt managed to get on board the 1st train, but managed to take the 2nd, lucky was not late for attachment, and was even earlier than my chef. lol..

My day started off with the usual breakfast orders from the exect floor, today was quite smooth going, not much order in the early part of the morning. but dont know why suddenly at ard 9 plus, large grps of ppl came in. haiz, really late waker. lol.. today was quite a rushing day for me, lots of things to do, one more thing is that only me and chef andy was working for the morning shift, chef fei was on off. then as usual at ard 10am, the chef got to go for meeting, so left me alone to settle most of the stuff, but lucky he got help me settle quite alot liao, before he went for the meeting. one more thing is remember, i got to do the breakfast order. so got to run two places at a time. tiring u know, even though got lift to take up the 17th floor. .lol..

So whenever i got free time from the exec floor, i would rush back down to the 2nd level which my kitchen is located to settle the food for the high tea which is suppose to be out by 1pm. then still got to send down food to the orchard cafe, plus then in the morning alot of suppliers would bring in the stocks, so when they come with frozen items, i got to quickly put them into the freezer..

Anyway, after everything was done quite on time except for the condiments for high tea, i didnt managed to complete preparing. after that, was lunch time, had only ard 15 - 20 mins to eat my lunch as got more things waiting in the kitchen to be done. went up to the payroll office again, but as usual its close again. sob sob.. nvm.. today chef andy dont know y suddenly asked me to go home on the dot, at three pm even though i havent finish my task, but i didnt go only until i complete the task given to me, as didnt want to leave a bad impression, hope that tml he also would allow me to give on the dot. hehe, u know why, cause tml i'm going to start my temp job at carrefour, today i went down to carrefour again after my attachment wanting to buy bread for breakfast then saw shu hui, she help me ask yong fong if he need me to work tml, and in the end got the job. hehe. time to earn extra money. .

Here comes the weekend..

Guess wat ppl, few more mins and it would be sat again.. wow. this wk seems to fly by so fast. think it's due to the public holiday ba. Anyway, didnt came online to blog yesterday due to the fact that i went down to plaza singapura after my attachment which ended at 6, then had to meet up with a surveyor to do a survey at 7. wow. the questionaire was damm long winded lor. but wat to do, since they called me quite a number of time i didnt want to upset them ma. After completing the survey at ard 730pm, i took a bus down to plaza, as usual to find my ex colleauges.

After walking ard in carrefour for a while, decided to wait for my shi fu, june and also met up with jun xian, who was enlisted into national service. hehe botak guy. lol.. Anyway, during my trip down to carrefour this time rd, i've finally made a decision to go back as a temp cashier, so i talked to shu hui and yong fong, the management for cashier dept and they agreed to call me whenever they need help, but also provided i'm free. Nw that i've managed to find a part-time, hopefully my attachment timing would be able to cope with the time that they require me, if not no point also. wat i need is $$$. come to think of it, i have still not gone to take my first pay cheque from the payroll office for my attachment yet. haiz, wanted to go up to collect today, but when i went up, i was told that the payroll officer is on leave... :'( haiz, nw wait i can pray for is that she would be back working tml so that i can at least collect the cheque and bank in, if not dont know when then can get the money. but one thing gd abt not being abt to get the cheque is that i wouldnt get to spend the money so fast, but then after thinking through, the money from the attachment would mostly be used to pay bills. :'( haiz, that's y i need a 2nd job)

My day spend on friday was quite ok, started work at 10, helped ard in the kitchen, send things down to orchard cafe, prepared for high tea items, had lunch, did the bar lunch, (which had no business.) hehe. after that, went down to collect store, etc... my chefs seems to be teaching me alot of things this few days, they seem like wanting me to know everything asap, dont know why also, there's gd and bad abt knowing all the things which is if i know liao, then there would be lots more things to do.. :'( but wat to do, my task there as a trainee is to learn and do everything.

wow wat a long blog today, think should be enough to cover for the lost of word yesterday. stay tune for more tml hehe

Why is off days always shorter than working day?

Haiz. can u imagine, i started my off days on monday the 31st of oct, and today is the last day of my 3 days off. Haiz, come to think of it, i havent seem to have done much to enjoy the off days. most of the time was spend sleeping. :'(

Had wanted to go down to my work place today to check my workin time for tml and also do get my pay cheque but in the end, as it was raining, i didnt go down. on top of the thinking of going to get the cheque, i also had wanted to go down to plaza sing to visit, but also nv go down.

Last sunday when i went down to plaza after my attachment, to pass all my friends a hari raya card. hehe so touching rite. lol. After passing them the card, i walk ard carrefour, bought some bread and other things. then i saw shu hui, the management, and i asked her abt those temp staff tat they usually employ for redemption counters and etc. She asked me if i'm interested to go back to work as a temp cashier and here i am considering and deciding if i should go back. haiz.

Well, sian, nw is already night of my last off day. tml morning would have to start work again. maybe it is better than hunging ard at home doing nothing. till then. take care.

A month of attachment had passed..

Hi ppl, it has been a month since my last post, sorry if some of u ppl came online and found it not updated. well, the main reason for me not updating is i think lazyness ba. for the past one month, i've been quite busy with the attachment at ORCHARD HOTEL, although it has only been a month, i've managed to learn some skills from the chefs in ORCHARD hotel.

During the past month, i've been to BUTCHERY for 2 wks then currently in MAIN KITCHEN for another 2 wks. i would be doing my attachment in MAIN KITCHEN for the coming 14 wks, which would end in jan. then after that i would have to proceed to ORCHARD CAFE.

During the stay at butchery, although it was only a short two wks, i managed to learn much from the chef, i think he must have found that i'm useless and slow in the work, hereby i would like to say tks for his patience in teaching me watever i dont understand. over at butchery, i learnt hw to fillet salmon into sashimi, those thin slices of sashimi. lol. for the 1st wk, my skill was damm bad, always doing the wrong thing, but come to the 2nd wk, i think from my own opinion, i've managed to catch the technique. even though still damm slow in the work.

Nw even though i'm in main kitchen, which is also known as the production kitchen, my speed of work i think is still very slow. but i would try my very best to improve. for the 1st wk in main kitchen my shift was 7 - 3 most of the time, due to the need to do breakfast for the exec club which is located on the 17th floor. overthere, wat i got to do are the egg orders, and also the topping up of the buffet counters. it was quite an experience. after the breakfast time is over, i went back down to the kitchen to carry on with the daily stuff. which includes preparing of the high tea, and also there was also the functions which sometimes had to stay back to help out. even though it has been abit tiring i managed to learn some stuff over there.

4th of Oct. - smooth going

The morning of 4th oct saw me waking up at 7am, preparing to go for my 2nd day orientation at Orchard Hotel, my attachment hotel for 9 long mths. As usual, took the bus 502 down to orchard rd, alight at the same bus stop which i'm going to be alight for the nxt 9mths. haiz, sometimes really wonder if it's a gd sign or a bad one, but no matter wat, life still have to proceed.

Today we managed to collect our name tag, our locker, (but sad to say, i tried opening my lock but still failed) wonder if i'm fated to use the locker or not. lol. no matter wat, would be going down to the hotel earlier tml to try opening again. hope it works. the orientation program was quite a short but boring one, except the session when chef eric came up to chat with us. hehe. he's quite a nice guy but all cant be said till the actual working with him. Then during lunch time, the four of us went to try out our uniform which would only be collected tml, since laundry would be free, think would be changing uniform everyday, hehe, in order to be clean. hehe.

After trying out the uniform, we had our lunch at the staff cafe again, the spices. the food there really cant make it. but... wat to do, got to eat there for 9mths. haiz.. endure.

After lunch, we had to go back for the 2nd half of the orientation and it end quite early, but after the orientation we went to find out our reporting time and place for tml, haiz, tml got to start work liao. but lucky it's report at 9am. whew.. one thing sad is that the four of us are serparted, wei hao posted to orchard cafe, siti posted to muslim kitchen and i posted to butchery. haiz. then sharly, the pastry gal of course to the pastry kitchen. no matter wat, hope the four of us would be able to meet for lunch daily. had a little tour of the kitchen and also got to know hw to get to our attached place. ended the tour at ard 440pm, actually wanted to go suntec collect my pay today but .. haiz. no chance. so in the end call carrefour to request that my pay be send to plaza sing so that i would be able to collect soon.

Gd evening everyone, my last blog was on the day spend on 30th sep, which was quite a boring one, hehe. here comes: 1st of oct, wat did i do, dont quite remember, haiz, no choice memory failing me liao... (thinking)..... oh ya, i woke up in the morning at ard 10am, washed up, took a bus to jurong point, to be exact, boon lay mrt station as nkf was organising a checkup at a cost of S$5/- so since it's been quite some time since i had my last checkup, i decided to drop by. it was quite a fast process and the result was out instantly. After having the checkup, i went into jurong point basement one, the singapore post to do my posting. hehe. to somewhere far from singapore. hehe. after the posting has been done, went down to plaza singapura once again, haiz, seems like i cant bear to leave that place. haha. no la, went down for the last time of the wk to return my two sets of uniform, had a movie alone after returning the uni, watched the dukes of hazzards, was quite a funny movie, hehe, even though watched alone. :'(

2nd of Oct, had wanted to go down plaza in the evening, but in then end didnt go down, dont know why, managed to sleep all the way from the night before to evening time on the 2nd. haiz, maybe too tired liao ba. So, ppl, u know hw i spend my 2nd of oct? lol.

3rd of Oct, the day has finally come. The 1st day of attachment, had been thinking of weather to bring my chef uniform down just in case need to start work on the day itself and that there's no uniform issued. so in the end, decided to bring down, but it was useless, there's no work on the 1st day so in the end brought a heavy burden with me. :'(. today actually started the day with a wait outside human resource of orchard hotel, was then brought to the seminar room for orientation but it started only at 9am.

The whole day was spend at the orientation, and tell your wat, today is only the first day, tml there's going to be another orientation, hope it would end early so that i can go down suntec to collect my carrefour pay, as no money liao. :'(

Well, today seems to be writing alot, so that's the end.

30th Sep - Last day of the month

30th of Sep, which is the last day of the month was quite a relaxing day, as usual woke up at 0700am, went to bukit batok to see june, brought breakfast for her, well, this is the last time i have the chance to buy her breakfast. cause after this wk, i would be starting my attachment at orchard hotel starting on the 3rd of Oct, just hope that she would be doing fine in school. haiz..

After buying her breakfast and sending her to school, i went for a tan at jurong east swimming complex, the sun was great. but too bad, didnt really get tanned much. had a float rd the pool for a few rds, after tat went back home to put down the wet clothings and went out again.

Took the train to plaza singapura, went to red cross hse to return the charity draw tickets as it was the last day for submission. only managed to sell 4 booklets, in the end, in other not to create a bad impression for them, i ownself bought 6 booklets, hope tat really can at least win something.hehe.

After returning the tickets, went over to carrefour, shop ard while waiting for evelyn tay to come so as to pass her some things to put inside june's locker. well, hope that june doesnt mind. i mean mind me giving evelyn her locker number. sorry in advance.

after meeting her, accompany her for dinner, i came back home, rest for a while then start preparing to bake cookies. hehe. been quite sometime since i last bake. well, at least the cookies are presentable and can be eaten. hehe. well, think tat's all. tata.

Haiz. the week is passing too fast.. why is it that holidays are always short and always seems that not enough time to enjoy..

Anyway, let's start off from the day that i last wrote. The last paper on the 23 was quite smooth going, should be able to pass the paper. hehe. Anyway, after the paper on friday, we had the briefing for our work experience, got our log book, hand in the appt letter, and sad to say, still got quite a number of my school mates still havent get a hotel. haiz. hope they get one soon. As usual was working on sat and sun, everything went quite smoothly, except for sunday, which is the last day of work for most of us in carrefour, haiz, 4 of them going into national service. Anyway, that's part and puzzle of life for guys. On our last day, meera passed us a small gift. so touching. cried when she was chatting with us.. :'(

Then came monday, which was quite a lazy day for me, slept till quite late, so in the end, nothing much happen. nxt is tue, had a appt at blood bank, donated my 34th packet of blood. hehe. getting nearer and nearer to the 50 packet target. hehe. after the donation, had some thoughts of weather to meet the carrefour guys to go sentosa. haiz, after thinking for sometime, went over to SGH BLK 7 to buy some polar puffs for the guys and then took the train down to harbour front, proceed to the meeting place which was the interchange and as usual, they r late. haiz. finally the guys came and we went on our journey to sentosa. had a great day that day, although i didnt had the chance to go down water due to the fact that i didnt bring any spare shirt and also i was wearing jeans. haiz. so sad. but no worries, if there's chance to go there again, would surely remember to bring spare clothings.

Wed came, as usual was a boring day, dont know y, maybe due to the fact that no one jio me out, another reason is also no $$. that's the main killer.

Thurs morning started off with a breakfast at bukit batok mac, with june and chun yin, after that we accompanied june to school and then me and chun yin went back to mac to chit chat for a while followed by a trip down to gombak statiam for a run. wow long time no run liao, damm tiring. after the run, we went to a coffee shop to chit chat again and back home we head. and my day ended like that. haiz. boring rite.hehe.

One more paper to go. screwed up the paper today!!

Another day have passed. Today the paper is beverage knowledge which i have a feeling tat lots of ppl would screw the paper up. haiz. To me, it is just a paper which kills all the brain cells inside me. with all those french names of wines and all, it has cause me headache. haiz. Anyway, it's all over. whew.

Nw wat i can just hope is that my total GPA does not fall below 2.5. Only then can i get my cert. haiz. The wk is drawing nearer and nearer to the end, dont know why, i just dont feel to have it end so soon, the end of this wk would mean the end of my career path in carrefour, the end of my theory path in SHATEC, and the end of the path which my whole class have been together for the past 1 yr 2 mths. time really flies. there's close friends and there's friends who had almost became enemy. but no matter wat, i just hope that relations doesnt gets any worst, after all this is the last wk in school, there wouldnt be anymore chance of seeing each other once everyone leave for their hotel till the day we graduate. haiz.

There's friends whom that i dont wish to leave. there's ppl whom i just start to get close with. there's ppl whom i dont wish to meet ever again. there's ppl whom i am going to miss alot. The above refers to both in SHATEC and in CARREFOUR. but no matter wat, if there's fate, then we shall be able to meet up again, no matter where it is.

STress!!! Exam wk

Hi all,

1 wk passed again, and here i am back blogging. Was away for sometime due to the preparation for exam wk this wk. Didnt know wat to write also. Anyway, the pass wk has been quite stressful, was working on the 17th of sep, got scolded by customer siao. haiz. wtf. Once the customer scold me, i immediately shouted back. i didnt really care much anyway, i'm resigning liao. But honestly, i dont scold ppl for no reason de. Was on leave for sun, 18th of sep, finally the management got the scedule correct and put me on Leave. lol.

Rest almost the whole day at home on sun, woke up damm early in the morning on monday and left for school to read up the notes for the papers on that day. Was damm stressful, as there's two papers on that day. one is Principals of Supervision and the other is Food & Beverage Knowledge. Anyway, this wk is the last wk of school liao. so wat to do, just endure.

The same routine happens for tue and today, woke up at 6plus in the morning, wash up, got really for school and reached there 2hrs before the paper, to do wat, just to read up the notes. haiz. your might say, last min carry buddha leg. but wat to do, i'm the type who cant study at night de. so no choice got to suffer abit and wake up earlier to study.

Had Kitchen organisation on tues and today had Menu planning and pricing. though the trainer got give us tips, but most of them are just useless tips. haiz. well, wat's over is over.Nw wat i can hope is just for a pass. so long as the total GPA does not fall below 2.5 can liao.

Anyway, had a feeling that the carrefour management would cock up my application for leave on tue so in the end called up the office on tues morning and true enough, found out that they didnt put me on leave. so i talked to yong feng and he said that he would take note abt it. haiz. whywhy r the management so f up.. haiz. no matter wat, this wkend would be my last two days working there. Lets just hope that no f up customers pass my way if not i dont know wat would happen.

From wat i can see from the way the management works, i have a feeling that even after i resign, the nxt wk my name would still be in the list. haiz.

Till then, got to go rest and wake up later early to read up for the test on thurs which is beverage knowledge. this paper, i think quite alot of ppl would screw up, damm hard. haiz. Then friday would be the last paper which is Food cost control. with lots of maths to be done.

14th Sep - Another day ending soon

Wow. today was a day where i had the longest hours of sleep. hehe Been a long long time since i slept to noon time. Managed to catch this sleep is because today lessons starts at 3pm, but due to project meeting at 1, i got to leave home by 12. Haiz. Wat to do, anyway, this semester is coming to an end soon, so, just endure. 'Easier said than done.'

Anyway, today only had two lessons, which is majory revisions except for beverage lesson, still got a few more chapters to cover before the exams. Beverage was quite a boring lesson, alot of theory, the book contains up to 95% of words. STRESS. Lol. no matter hw boring the lesson is, it still have to go on, as in a food business, beverages earns the most income.

I hate wednesdays, cause class ends the latest. But no matter wat, one more wk and it would be life in hotels liao. By then, if want to touch books also would not have much chance liao, it would be life with knifes, chopping boards, pots and pans. lol.

K la, think i write till here for the time being, got to go and rush the projects and revision exercises which have to be handed tml morning. If i happen to finish fast, might drop in to update again.

13 Sep - Relaxed day

Hi all. just got back home from work at carrefour, went for a bath before coming online to do blogging again. Work was fine, was doing roller at level one as usual. Haiz. saw my ad on the notice board of carrefour, so far, only three pieces of my contact are torn. but still havent got any msg from anyone to order. Sian. the price so cheap liao still no one buying. :'(. Lantern festival ending soon, hw.. am i really not in the luck to earn some extra cash?

Well, today there was no class, but in the end, i also went back to school for a while, met up with june for breakfast at Mac, brought her to school, she's having exam yesterday, hope she manage to score well.

After sending her to school, i decided to go for a swim, or so called a tan at jurong east sports complex, reach there at ard 0930am, but sad to say, it rain after 30 mins. sian. Luckily the rain was a short one, i managed to get a bit of tan. hehe. hope that after my attachment starts, i would still have the time to go for a tan every wk. Left the complex at ard 12, had lunch at the hawker centre at jurong east, then was supposed to meet up with the gang of carrefour at harbour front to go to sentosa but in the end, there was a change of plan, so i went straight down to plaza, to rot. lol. Anyway, today was quite a gd day, didnt met any fuck up customers during work. whew..

Next wk starting to have my final exams liao, but sad to say, up till nw, i still havent do any revision. stress. Gona start soon..

Monday the 12th of sep started off with a wake in the morning at 0700am and washed up, went down to the bus stop to take a bus down to school for lesson which starts at 0830am. Didnt had much time to drop by at the coffeeshop to get a pack of coffee, haiz. Reached school to find that the classroom was changed to class 2A, which is at level 2. Started the class only at 0900hrs, cause of some delays here and there, had revision for KO and MPP, which was = to tips giving. Ended the revision at 0945am, and i was like thinking, lucky I stay nearby, wat happens if I stay in pasir ris.

Due to the fact that my appt to cut my hair at 1130hrs, i went home from school after the revision, changed to a pair of jeans and t-shirt, took a cab down to my hair dresser hse, cut my hair, decided to go back to 163SQN, which was my NSF camp, drop by to visit my SSWO, and a few others whom i know. The SSO is changing again. haiz, due to the fact that nw SSO's are NSFs. Stayed in camp till ard 4 plus, just before they clear arms so that i wouldnt be delayed in the camp.

After leaving 163, i took a bus down to jurong pt, called up ryan, a ex collegue of mine in carrefour, asked if he's interested in having dinner, met him at 1830hrs, before that i was sitting at coffeebean to have a drink and a few sticks of cigrettes. When he arrived, we went to long john silver to have makan, but i said somethings which i think was the biggest mistake i've made, and it made him angry and he left.

After Ryan left, i had lots of thought in my mind, was wat i said really too much. I dont know y, in the end i went up to the golden village, caught a movie, THE MAID, thoughout the movie, i didnt really enjoyed myself. I think wat i did was really a big mistake. SORRY RYAN. After the movie, i went home, record tv programs for my mum, after which i came online to do this blog, and in no time, the clock stricks 0000am. and it's the beginning of another day.

Haiz, another wk have passed, the recently wkend was quite a bad one, a bad experience to be said and heard. As usual, I was working during the wkend at carrefour, but as I've applied for leave from work for sunday, i double check if the leave was being approved, and sad to say, it was not, so in the end, I reported for work on sunday and was shocked to see that beside my name, there was the remark: Unpaid. I got damm angry and just left my workplace without a second word said.

Honestly speaking, my resignation from carrefour would actually not be a sad one, even if it's sad, it would be the leaving of friends that would cause me to feel upset and it's not going to be the job that would make me feel sad leaving from.

K la, think that's all for nw, not in a gd mood to write anymore, lets hope that the coming wk would be a better one before i start my exam wk which would be on the 19th.

Wow. it has been almost 5 mths since my last entry on my new hair style which was in april 2005. So this entry i bet would be quite long, as there's alot of updating to be done. Lol. No choice la, for those who have been coming into my blog to visit, sorry to have disappoint u ppl. Anyway, life has been quite busy and tiring and boring and stressful for me during this few mths. Lots of changes have happen, there have been happy moments and sad moments. But no matter wat, life still have to go on rite.

Anyway, just a quick update of mine life, have been in school studying for my last semester which would be ending end of sep. During this semester, we had to study 6-7 subjects in 2 mths. Stressful rite. Lol. Haiz, but wat to do, thing still have to move on, unless u ppl are advising me to quit, which is completely impossible. After spending ard $6k of my mum's hard earn money. On top of studies, there's also the projects, either by grp or by indivual, both are damm stressful. with the forever building workload, in order to have enough money to survive the mth, I still carried on my job in carrefour, I've changed my position from cashiering to become a roller boy, who have to run ard in the store to check on the product prices if there's any mistakes spotted by the customers when making purchases, one thing good for changing to be a roller is that i managed to loss ard 5kg after 1mth of changing the work. Maybe u ppl might think that it's too unbelievable but i can tell u, it's the truth. Dont know why also. And guess wat, I've work more than 1 yr since my joining of the company in yr 2004 aug, time really flies, there's ppl who left and ppl who came. Got to know more new friends, even though not so close but at least got the chance to meet in this lifetime.

During this 5 mths of not bloging, lots of things had went through my mind, sometimes when thinking of wat had happen, I really feel like giving up on my life, it seems to be so meaningless living in this world, I dont know why I would think of it this way, and I even msg ppl asking, wat would they do if one day they happen to see in the papers or even hear from my parents that I'm dead. Was so touch with the replies and concerns given to me by friends. I even cried when i read their replies. of course some scolded me, but I know they mean well. TKS PALS.

During this 5 mths, I also start to attend driving lessons, in order to have a more fruitful life, this is some of the acheivements that human must have. Nw i've learnt quite alot from the lessons, at least get a feel of driving. there was also the carrefour dinner & dance on the 23rd of aug, was quite a enjoyable one, had a few drinks, some got drunk, some managed to control their drink.

Btw, I recently also learnt how to bake mooncake, there wasnt any lessons attended on baking of mooncake, its was just a interest in me, that I went to purchase the recipe book and read through and managed to make quite a successful one. hehe

After the studies in school, would be the actual hotel attachment which would last for 9 mths, afterwhich would be graduation liao. hehe. for the past one mth, I've send out lots of resume and application letters to hotels for attachment application, but only go a few replies, but in the end, at least I managed to get a hotel which is ORCHARD HOTEL, even though not as famous as RAFFLES, FULUTTON, HYATT, etc... it's still a gd name hotel. and I hope that I would be able to learn much from there.

Hei, this entry is really damm long, lol. so i think i would just end here and update again soon.

New hair style for me.

Yoz, friends of thomas, here i am again, back blogging. for the past wk had been quite a slack week for me, since the event catering is over. whew, finally one more thing down and dont need to worry abt it anymore. hehe.

Anyway, had my comms skill interview on the tues and the result can be said to be quite great, since my resume is one of the best. hehe. tks to CK for his draft. my interview was supposed to be at 11am, but the whole thing was pushed back for some reason, making me so nervous while waiting for my turn. after the interview, got a debrief for the interview, telling me wat went wrong, and wat can be improved. hope that the actual interview for the work experience attachment tat time would be better than this. and hope that i would be able to get into the hotel of my choice.

One more thing, which u ppl might be suprised to know, i went to dye my hair yesterday, dye the colour of copper brown, wow, i couldnt recongise myself also at first. went for the dye in the morning, before my school starts. then when i reach school, alot of my classmates got a shock also. hehe i think they have nv thought that i would go for a dye. lol. anyway, i find that after the dye, i look abit different, dont know hw different, but, seriously speaking, it really helps to change my image for the time being.

Maybe would post a photo of my new hairstyle soon, after i go take a photo. hehe.

Think tat's all for nw, nxt wk onwards would be my attachment to outlet wk again. sian, would be at production for two wks, followed by outlet for a mth. going to miss school. hehe

Finally, event catering is over.

Wow.. long long time since i last entered an entry. was damm busy with the prep for the event catering for my class. and today is finally the last day and i'm on off. hehe. the past few days was damm busy and tiring. dont know y also, but once the event finishes, it seems like a burden have passed but yet to have another coming up soon. which is going to be the comprehensive exam. die la.

For the pass few days, i was either at production, preparing the ingredients for the final product to be sold at PETALS or was at PETALS, doing up the menu, or so called the food which are eaten by the guests who paid S$25/- for the meal. But for friday, i was at both petals and production, doing full shift. damm tired. but it's worth it cause sat is my off day. hehe

For the 1st night, which was monday, the number of guests was only 60+, followed by tues 63, wed 67, thurs 73 and friday 111. wow. wat a great difference. On friday, our ingredient almost run out, as we didnt really expect to have so much guest coming. especially when it's are 5+, the reservations hit 101. wow. the heard that sat's reservation is already more than 100. more to come man. gd luck guys for those who r doing petals later in the day.

Sian. this morning went to school at 0930, met up with june at 0830. then after changing into uniform, went into new kitchen. took the attendance, then had a short briefing on hw to use the new blender. which is like quite stupid lor. damm sian. dont know wat to do. then after the damm stupid briefing, can go home liao. .a damm wasting of the time and transport money lor.

Warehouse sales here i come

Lol. this i am updating. btw, yesterday was the 2nd day of the warehouse sales for carrefour. hehe and i kana the counter there again. i'm not complaining. but think i'm kinda like to be cashier there liao. so fun. hehe. although abit tiring but time flies real fast there. cause most of the time would be scanning the items, and packing, and collecting the money. most of the time would be a cash transcation. at the end of the day, see the thick notes. wow. so nice if they r mine. lol. must be dreaming. hope that i can do the sales for the whole of the event. hehe.

Sian. later gona go for school again. wonder wat would be the event for the day in school just hope that it would end early, so that i can go to work early and earn more money. most likely would have to take a few days of leave from work for the wk of 18th april. cause of the event catering for my class. sian, so no choice, have to check with my leaders when i would have to go down to petals to do the cooking, so that i can start to apply leave before it's not being approved. hope that i would only be going down for a few days, maybe 1 to 3 days. if not really sian, no money to earn.

Then yesterday was the third day of school for my shifu, june. hehe hope she's starting to get used to it. just nw called her at ard 11 plus and she's sleeping liao. lol. poor gal. well, rest well, it's lucky that i took over her yesterday so that she can have a gd rest.

Cheap deals. anyone?

Yoz.. wow. here i am updating my blog again. lol.. Just reached home from work not long ago from Carrefour Plaza Sing. today's the first day of the warehse sales, which would end on the 20th of April. And as expected, i kana the counter at atruim. busy day today man, can u imagine, those warehouse sales things can make my sales to be 6k plus in a short 6 hrs of work. those items are damm cheap lor, especially computer books, selling at S$5/- per books. and still got other types of books ranging from S$1 - S$8. Then also the most sellable item is the ovaltine, at $3 for 2 bottles. they even replinish the stock and at the end of the day, it's sold out again.

Well, there are also recipe books selling from 2 - 5 dollars, most likely would be going down early later to take a look. Hei, then later i've no class. hehe, a day of rest from school, but dont know if want to go down to meet june or not ler. lol.. Poor gal must be damm tired from the 1st two days in school. haha. hope she can cope better soon.

Lol.. here i'm writing this blog using my school library computer. seems like i've been able to update my blog, both in http://www.blogger.com and http://www.friendster.com. hehe. dont know why, after i start to come back to school, i've been able to do the updating more often, your can say maybe because more things to write abt? lol. .

Anyway, me just finish doing the paper for the progress test for my comms skills today. the paper was quite easy going, can do most of the questions. nw is only hope that can pass can liao. hehe, since i nv study much for the test. hehe. lazy is part of the reason ba. anyway, wat's so sian abt today is that nw is break time, then later at 11am still have to go back for lesson for comms skill, followed by lunch. then meeting with sir lau. wonder wat time would end the meeting. hope would end quite early ba. getting sleepy liao, since been a few days since i had a gd sleep, recently when i wake up, i feel aching all over. wonder y. maybe one of this day go for a full body check up? lol.. shall see hw.

Gd morning to all. lol.. seems like i'm starting to update my blog daily liao.. hehe. cause nw no matter wat, i tried my very best to come online to write, sometimes is because whenever i come online every night or early in the morning, i dont know wat to do with the internet program. Wana go to web pages to explore, dont have much choices. sometimes i really feel so fare up with my life. dont know wat to do with it, especially at night after i get home from work. Wana go to bed but not feeling sleepy at all. boring boring life. hehe

Oh btw, last night work was damm boring and slow moving. dont know y, there's crowd, but on and off only. so boring. but yesterday i was also feeling aching all the way from work. dont know y. maybe because of the 7 days that i've been working all the way, plus school in the morning, plus sleeping late at night and also waking up early for school. really feel like taking a break and leaving singapore to go overseas to enjoy for a while. but it's afterall easy to say then when u dont even have to $, hw the hell u going to go overseas. .lol.. well, no choice then, have to stay in singapore all the way. but if really can, i feel like taking the rest. feeling all the things to rest.

Then nw i'm in school liao, brought june to school since it's her 1st day attending school after so long, actually need to meet my insurance agent le, but lazy to go back to my hse area, so told him that today's meeting cancel. hehe. so bad. anyway, would have to transfer the cash to him later, once he give me his account number. Then later my lesson starting only at 2 pm. dont know wat to do from nw till then, most likely would be going for lunch with my shifu.

Busy day

Wow. just reached home from a long day at work at Carrefour, Plaza Sing. Today early morning went to Paya Lebar with my sifu to get uniform, then after that went for lunch, followed by the trip down to PS. Actually was thinking of wat to do from 3 - the time i start work, cause i start work at 6. sian, then when i was shopping for clothes, a phone call came, dawn called and ask me if i can start work early today. whew. lucky if not i really dont know wat to do in that 3 hrs. so in the end start work at 3 and ends at 11.

Also dont know why, today the number of customer was damm alot lor, damm busy, not even a time that can sit down to rest for a while, only till when close counter, sat down to keep my money. Wonder wat's the reason for the long queue. is it because of not enough cashiers or is it because of the increase of customer due to the free shuttle bus service offered by Plaza sing?
Anyway, no matter wat's the reason is, today's crowd is damm horrible. think this crowd thing would last for quite sometime, really hope that the number of cashiers would increase so as to be able to clear the queue asap.

Think that's all for nw, later still gona go work, starting work at 2 ending at 9. sian.. but wat to do, that's life, u want money to spend, u've got to work hard for it.

Wow. been three days since i last log in to blog. hehe. no choice, been quite busy with my work and also studies. by the time i reach home, would be ard 12+ 1 am, so also quite tired to start writing anything into the blog.

Well, for the past few days, i've been working, even though i was not on schedule for tuesday and wed, i replaced my friend for they shift. wow. me so gd rite. lol, is no choice ok, no money that's y i have to work so many days, hehe. for the last pay, i only got 500+ sian, so little. me even think of taking up another job, maybe those type that starts from midnite, which is after my carrefour work, since i always been sleeping at 4+ 5. hope that would be able to find a midnite job soon, with the current pay i'm getting nw, not even enough for me to pay my bills.

If anyone of u got any lobang for midnite shift work, kindly leave me a msg or a comment,tks so much.

Got to go liao. if not gona be late for my lesson. hehe

Heilo everyone. time really flies.. sometimes i am always wondering wat i've been doing with my life, always seems like aimlessly trying to pass my life just like tat.. i really wish to know wat the hell i am really making my life into. sometimes really feel like leaving everything undone, and leaving this world of stress and stress. but when i come to think of it again, it's like wat the hell, to i really have to end my life just like tat alone and boring life.

My life everyday is like almost the same old thing, morning comes to school, attend lesson, if not is doing the event catering things. at nite would be working in carrefour, till late evening, reach home ard 12 midnite till 1 am, go online, chat, play game, etc.. aimlessly looking forward to the next working day. this few wks more and more ppl are leaving carrefour, dont know y also, but truely speaking carrefour is so boring working there without those friends whom can talk with.

kk. enough of complaining. hehe. nw in order to update, last wk, had to do the event for SAFTI, which has 300 over pax. but the whole event is like so boring. dont know wat i did over there too. but at least after doing the event, we did get our sat off. hehe.

sometimes feel like blogging, but dont know wat to write. well, i've run out of things to write liao. think that's all for today ba..

wow.. been almost a mth since my last entry on the15 of feb, lol. no choice, busy with both studies and work. today just happen to be free to write a short entry incase anyone want to scold me again for not writing.

Just a short update of my life so far, was having my attachment at petals and production in school. this two mths would be starting to get busy with a event catering event. would have to plan a menu to be sold at the school's resturant. once the menu is out, would let your know then hope that if possible, u ppl can come and support. hehe.

Then for my work part, still the same, working in carrefour, still trying to survive there hehe. no choice, who ask my school attachment nv give any allowance, then still have to pay for my last installment of the school fees. lucky enough: is the last installment. hehe whew.. anyone got any new part-time job lobang, pls intro.. provided my timing can be suit to work. .hehe tks so much man.

Sleepy day

Hi all, was supposed to have a ex-campmate makan session today, but since most of the ppl can't make it for the makan, i had to cancel or so called postpone the makan session to another day. no choice, since only 5 ppl could make it, no point meeting also, no fun. hehe. sorry ppl for those who cancelled their appointments with other friends. too bad, would keep u guys updated for the coming makan session, hope that the nxt one, more ppl would be free to attend, since it has been quite sometime since we last met also.

Then today i dont have to go to work at carrefour. was on off. hehe, finally a day of gd rest and sleep. been a long time since i had a evening nap. hehe. then just woke up from the nap, feel quite gd and seems like nv slept before. hehe. This morning, i was finally not late for my attachment which starts at 8.30am, was finally once early since the day i was attached to production. hehe. today was quite busy, as need to prepare the ingredients for the two training resturants, cooked for the menu they selling for dinner. then tml also got a farewell party function. the things needed are all prepared today also. then mdm was saying that tml's stuff meal we also going to have the food frm the function. hehe. sounds gd.

Another long wk ahead

Sian, just got back from work in carrefour. u ppl must be wondering wa, so poor thing, valentine day still need to work, nv go out with gf... lol.. of course not la.. no gf just yet, anyone got any gals to intro? lol..

Then work today was quite busy, dont know y also, a monday still so busy, normally on mondays would be quite relax one. then today i had my attachment in production again, arrived late again, for 15 mins, no choice woke up late. tml have to arrive early liao, if not have to stay behind again. Then as i was late for today, i had to stay behind till 1530. then after that went down straight to PLAZA SING, called don, one of the management to ask if need me to start work early, and suprised the answer was a yes. so in the end, start work at 6 instead of 7. hehe. today at carrefour got free lunch, so called the CNY lunch. so makan for free. hehe.

Then as today is V day, CP bought cake for june, then asked me to join them for a piece of cake, so went there become a bright light bulb. but only stayed there for the cake then leave liao, cause got to catch the last train home.

Anyway in conclusion of the day is that a lonely V day for me this yr, no worries, would try my best again.. hope that nxt yr would not be a lonely one. hehe

Long lost blogging.

Wow.. been a long long time since my last blog on the 9th of jan, it has been more than a month. some of u ppl must be wondering wat has been happening rite, for those who visits my blogspot often, so sorry to disappoint u with an un-updated blog at each time of your visit.. hehe. wat to do, no choice wat, nothing to write and also no mood to write. was either busy with my attachment slots or busy with work in carrefour.. main reason for not updating is dont know wat to write and also feeling bored abt writing.. it's always like tat for me, 3rd degree fever.. lol.. do things always do half way, nv once follow up. tat's y till nw, still single and available.. lol. hei, wat am i talking abt.. i must be crazy on the V day. lol.. imagine writing a blog early in the morning of V day. lol..

Okok, so where shall i start updating u guys abt myself??

Well, the last time i blog, my attachment place was at OCBC centre rite, after staying there for two wks, i change to be at petals for a mth, two wks in the morning shift, two wks in the afternoon. morning shift starts work at 0645am, afternoon shift starts at 0230pm. so the days in OCBC was the most relaxing days, starting work only at 9am. lol.... well, wat to do, that's life as a trainee in SHATEC. always undergoing training. hehe. kk, lets start off with the 1st two wks in the morning shift, the first day i report at petals, got to know chef robert tan, the person in charge of the outlet.. he's the guy who request that we report at 0645 lor.. sian.. the other trainer mr peter lee, and mr wong, if they morning shift we can report at 0700am. well, the 1st wk i kana do salad station, wat need to do every morning is to change the rotten veg in the container with new, fresh ones.. the chop eggs, the cucumbers, the tomatoes wedges, etc.. have to be topped up.. for the service time at 11 onwards.. the salad station is so called the most easy station, nothing much to do one.. nothing to do, but the most sian station, the least things to learn from also.. the 2nd wk also i did the salad station.. sian. .but this time rd, after finishing my tasks, i went ard to learn from my classmates wat they did at their stations, namely griller, fryer, saucer, staff meal..

The third wk, i was in the afternoon shift, this time rd, i got to choose wat station i want to do. hehe.. i choosed to be saucer, cause for the afternoon shift, nothing much to do, then as a saucer, can learn quite alot of things, like which meat or seafood goes well with which sauce.. then during the free time, can also pop by at the fryer side to see more on wat they do.. for this wk, i learnt hw to cook hor fun, and mee goreng two items from the high-tea menu..

Then the fourth wk, i also in the afternoon shift, i wanted to do saucer again, but cant so i got no choice but to do stuff meal.. stuff meal can be quite fun, as u r free to cook wat meal u want for the whole stuff working in the shift for that day.. then can gain more experience from the comments they give abt the food that day. but one ting bad abt stuff meal is that after cooking the meal at 3-4pm, u just need to prepare wat u want to cook for the nxt day, then after that u r like doing nothing most of the time lor. then ard mid of the wk, my trainer suddenly asked me to cook a hor fun for him to taste, which i cock up.. one reason maybe is because my other classmates go in and kapo.. hehe sian.. after i mess up the hor fun, my trainer asked me to cook another mee goreng for him, at least that managed to pass abit. hehe. hope it doesnt affect my grading. :)

then for last wk, i was send back to production, nothing much, as only did one day as it was a CNY wk. then on monday go back, did stuff meal again with my other classmates, then as told that my group can go on off on tues then report back only on sat. but in the end, on sat, i overslept, so in the end nv go to school, went to take mc so that would get a DP.hehe wasted 25 bucks. :'( went for visiting on the first day of new yr, after which went to work at carrefour, no choice all because of the double pay, then i go back to work, if not hw i wish to be at home resting. .hehe

Well, think i've written quite a bit to cover up my past mth of inactiveness. hehe

Tiring day. And also a bad day

Yoz. just got back from work an hour ago, after settling my bath and etc, finally got the chance to blog again. as promised, i would try to blog everyday, but no promise.. Yesterday was quite a tiring and unlucky day, woke up at 8 in the morning, found that i am abt to be late for my attachment again, then somemore outside raining damm heavy, no choice, quickly woke up, clean up, and rush down to take a cab to my attachment place. this time rd, managed to get a cab. hehe, the total cab fare this time is $11.30. die la, at the rate i am spending my money, the lesser i've to spend my money on my fav things liao. but no choice, in order not to get DP for being late, have to take a cab down. Yesterday the attachment was the last day for me at OCBC building, for those who think that i work in the bank, my turn to explain, the main branch or should i say the HQ of OCBC, on the 33rd floor, there's a SHATEC resturant there, i'm attached there to cook, cut veg, etc.. So u ppl, dont ask me y i put OCBC for my nick in msn.. Yesterday, the attachment was quite relax, as there was nothing much to do, just did some area cleaning, helped out to prepare the ingredients for the nite's function, a wedding dinner.

Then today at work, was supposed to start work at 7, but since i left from my attachment place at ard 11 plus and after senting my clothes for washing, i called up PS to ask if they need me to start early, so in the end, ended up starting at 6. was asked to go to applicances counter to understudy today, sian. .so many paper work to be done over there, then if anything do wrongly would die a terrible death. :'( anyway today just understudy, so dont need to open counter and dont need to count money . hehe. hope that only ask me to understudy and not do the applicance side alone.. the lighting there was so strong that hurts my eye. :'( anyway was understudying my shi fu, june, she was my understudy for normal counter also, nw also my shi fu for applicances. lol..

Well, think this shall sum up my day for yesterday, learnt new things at work, then last day attachment at OCBC, nxt wk onwards would be going to PETALS, in case your dont know where it is, it's located at city hall, opposite parliment hse. if your free come find me. lol, but i would only be in the kitchen. lol.. if your come, just sms me lor.

Funny feeling.

Hei, u ppl must be wondering wat's happening to me, blogging at this early hr of the morning on the 8th of jan 05. me also dont know wat i'm doing. Just nw reached home at ard 12 plus from work at carrefour, started work yesterday at 7pm, cause i changed all my timing to start at 7pm due to my attachment committment. but as for yesterday, i was on off from my attachment then called up to asked if they need me to start work early, they said dont need. so sad, so in the end my working hrs is only 4 hrs wonder if would be enough to cover my transport cost. hehe. but no choice, still have to work, at least got a small income.

When i reached my workplace, went to buy dinner, as havent had any makan since morning. after buying, and found out that i dont have much time left to eat, i ate so quickly that nearly got choke. hehe. so sain. then after that, i went to report straight away, lucky was not late. hehe. got to do counter 1 yesterday, sian, rite at the corner, but one thing gd is that got wall to link against. hehe. but my work yesterday was something like got things missing, dont know y, dont seems to enjoy the work like wat i usually would, always smiling, etc. yesterday my mood was like very upset, very sian, very troubled, very fareup. dont know y also. i was like so easily get annoyed with the ppl, in conculsion is NO MOOD FOR WORK. maybe is due to the late starting of work, etc.. dont know y also la.

Whew, after writing so much, i feel that i've let out quite a number of things from my heart. would blog again soon.

Wow. been a long long time since my last blog last yr, nw is alreally 2005, time really flies. Didnt really have the time to come online to blog due to the attachment at OCBC and also work at nite over at carrefour. Come to think of it, this wk is my last wk of attachment at OCBC, after this wk, i would be going over to petals for my attachment for 1 mth, 2 wks in the morning, 2 wks in the afternoon. hope that everything would be smooth-going. Hope that i would not cock up anything, do anything wrong. During my pass two wks at OCBC, i learnt quite a number of things, saw lots of skills by the chef from the chinese side, handled the new yrs eve function and also a few orders here and there. met quite a number of new friends also during my attachment there. hope that we would be able to keep in contact.

Btw, this wk the attachment at OCBC was damm relax. cause there is too many ppl attached there and in the end, the trainer got no choice but to give us two days off. hehe, so gd of them. i think they also dont want us to hang ard doing nothing at the outlet, too many ppl till the jobs that r needed to be completed that day r all done even b4 lunch time, too many knife, too few things to do.. lol

This wk, i finally kept my promise with ivan to go to gym on tues morning, but was late. hehe. then today actually wanted to go with him again, but overslept and didnt go, another reason for not going is that LAZYINESS. it's the main killer. Lazy to wake up early to go for the workout. sorry ivan, if u happen to see this.

Then this wk, i got to aknowledge three god sis, all from my work place at Carrefour, hope that they would be happy to have me as their god sis. i promise that i would take gd care of them. Then on wed, i bake a total of 4 butter cake for the 3 god sis. Hope they liked it.. hehe.

Well, gona go for my work liao, also dont know wat to update here. as nothing much to write also. Going to blog again soon, i hope. hehe.

My great day today plus attachment at OCBC.

Yoz.. today's my big day, grown older another yr again. sian. old old me.. till nw still single. Btw, started my school attachment yesterday, had to report at 0830 am at OCBC building, but instead got there at 0745 to meet up with the rest of my classmates. In the end, when we reach there, the trainer in charge still havent reach. haha. but he reached at 0830 sharp and opened the door.

First day at attachment was quite fun, new environment, new trainer. was given a brief intro to ocbc building, got to look ard the kitchen, the locker rm, etc. wanted to take photo, but scared kana caught. hehe so in the end nv take. was asked to pound the pork chop for the first task of the day, then was asked to chop into 4 pieces per chop. got my shirt and apron stain with the water from the chop. sian. after that was asked to attached to the chinese side, which is quite free, cause we r not allowed to touch the wok, so no cooking for me yesterday. just helped to prepare the things and pass to the chef to cook, and also pass the cooked food to the front. thought the attachment would finish at ard 5 plus, but in the end, at 0200 pm, was asked to gather at the office, for a end of day briefing and got to leave at 0230pm. so gd.. hehe. during the briefing the trainer in charge mr elvi's told us that from today onwards, we only need to report at 0900. so gd. hehe. and that everyday would leave at 0230pm.

Today i was late for the attachment, woke up at 0800am. sian. overslept. wanted to catch a cab down to the ocbc, but in the end, waited for ard 20 plus mins still couldnt get a cab, no choice had to on call for a cab, the total fare was 20 bucks. sian, real broke liao. nw in my wallet left 2 bucks only. lucky reached there at 0910, only 10 mins late, was only asked y was late, and told not to be late tml onwards if not would get DP. whew...

Today was asked to make a sauce, but dont remember wat it was called. hehe. After that was asked to help the pastry gals to go collect store at 1030am, waited for 1 and half hrs for the transport from shatec to come. slack for the 1 and half hrs. hehe. after that when go back to the kitchen, had my lunch, defrost two turkey, marinate one of the turkey with salt, grill spice. and stuff the turkey with stuffing. hehe. after which was end of day liao. got home at 0300pm.

Busy day

Yesterday was a damm busy day working at carrefour. actually yesterday nv work want. but took over someone for her shift, but in the end, when i reached, i found out that i was supposed to start work at 6 instead of 7. wonder if they would put me late. the rouster put me work at the wine fair, but since i'm late, so didnt get to do the wine fair, instead did counter 10 again. the most busy counter i can say. damm busy yesterday lor, even the two superivsor have to open counter, think got a few ppl no show, that's y they both must open counter, even activate the management to come up to help us to the packing.

later have to go for work again, sian la, today no roller working, sure gone case one. well, no choice. anyway, no mood to blog liao. cya ppl soon.

Tired of Life

Been a long time since i last blog. no choice, always got home quite late after work, then also feel abit lazy to do blogging. today's my off day frm work, most of today was spend sleeping all the way, was feeling not well the pass few days, nw starting to recover abit liao. today, i also did some serviceing of the computer, to clear away some of the useless stuff, check for virus, defrag my computer. so can say my computer was on the whole day today. hehe, wasting of electricity.. but who cares.

While i was clearing the stuff, my mind start to think abt life again. here it goes, i still dont know wat the hell i'm doing with my life, nw that it seems to be a day pass after another, but dont tell me that it's going to be this way all the way, for my balance of 40, 50 yrs, if i'm lucky to live till that old. my birthday's coming soon again, i have a feeling to start planning my life all over again. first thing first, clear all debts asap. clear my bills, clear my insurance, reorganise every damm thing. nxt would be to concentrate on my attachments to OCBC, PETALS, PRODUCTION, etc,.

i'm doing to start my life afresh, all over again. i'm going to start a calendar from 2005. jot down everything that i've done for the day, and the amt tat i spend, reorganise my records of contacts, try to get in touch with friends whom have been long lost, etc..

Well, think that's wat i shall do, start 2005 jan 01. AND I SHALL DO IT..

Finally, another semester have come to an end. The last paper, Pastry and Baking on thurs was quite ok, should be able to get a pass. hehe. dont expect too much. Btw, was on off on tue, wed and thurs from work, after the paper on thurs, we had a class dinner at one of my classmate's dad resturant, the food there is not bad, quite tasty. after the dinner we went to one of the pub, but i didnt stay long, as the environment not quite my cup of tea. and further more, no $$ also.

Only away from work for ard 3 days, then on friday, when i report for work, found out there's quite a number of new cashiers. lol, not long ago got a few left and so fast they got new ppl again. sign. looks like we r like changing clothes for carrefour. Told yong feng abt my attachment timing, he say would look into it and let me know again. but then i've a feeling of changing job again ler, dont know y. maybe because quite a number of cashiers have left. new ppl have come, and then the environment seems to have changed. Anyway, worst come to worst would only work till latest end jan. then would seriously be BYE BYE TO CARREFOUR. lol..

For sat, which is last nite, had to train a new cashier, who is only the 2nd day. In the end, had to count money till ard 1130, then still have to recount my float, cause my cash bag got excess S$5.95. sian. but lucky as in it's a excess, not a shortage.. lol.

Hei, gtg liao. feeling abit tired liao, would blog again soon, i hope. lol.

Tired and stress.

feeling tired and stress today. had the english paper yesterday and also POC paper this morning. whew, lucky most of the question can do, should be able to get a pass. lol. anyway, this few days had to get up quite early in the morning so as not to be late for the papers which starts at 10am. to tell u ppl frankly, i didnt even study for any of the papers. Anyway, tomolo would be a free day for me, as no papers and also no work.
Oh, one more thing, today after the paper, had a attachment briefing and we got our attachment time table, at first there's news that my class would be doing the event catering first. but in the end, it turns out to be C class to start the event. WHEW.. for my class would be going to petals, production and OCBC building. for petals morning shift have to report damm early at 0645 am. afternoon shift would have to report at 2pm. then we would have to work for 8 hrs shift. then for OCBC and production, would have to report at 0830am.
For my timing, my first two wks of attachment would be at OCBC building. then if count for 8 hrs would be till ard 5pm. so dont think would be able to carry on with the job at carrefour liao. nvtheless, would bring my timeable to show to YF and see what he got to say lor, if really no choice, then have to leave carrefour and then start looking for another job, which mostly likely would be going to work at the fun fair again. as for my attachment, there wouldnt be any allowance, u ppl must be wondering, hw come my attachment no pay. lol.. cause its in the school's resturant. so would be counted as free labour. lol..
If really have to leave carrefour, most likely my last day would be on the 26 of dec, after christmas. lol, earn their one more double pay first. lol..

Lazy to blog

well, came online today and went to my blog page, can u imagine, it's been 14 days since my last blog on the 20th of nov. wow.. this shows hw lazy i am.. Well, cannot truely say that i'm lazy. but its because of work and studies that's y nv blog, even if blog, also dont really know wat to write..

Just came back from work at ard 1 plus going to 2. can u imagine, so late then reach home, sian. today did counter 6 again, and was the last to close, damm sian one u know, so busy and tiring, but wat to do, for money we have to work. recently quite a number of ppl resigned, for example, ryan, poh zu, wan hui, think more to come, they resign because of some reasons like enlistment into national service, school reopens, etc.. seeing them leave also make me think of leaving. can u imagine, wat's the point of staying when all your friends are not working there anymore. there wouldnt be anymore fun and laughter, plus all the new stupid rules like having to report for work 10 mins b4 the actual time, having to smile at the customers, greeting of customers, even if they ingore u, sometimes come to think of it, it's like making a fool out of yourself lor.

think sooner or later i would be the nxt to be leaving, due to the coming attachment to the outlets during the nxt semester, had a talk with yong feng recently, after his long long leave, told him that i would be having my attachment soon, and then asked if my working hrs can be go along with my attachment hrs, he say if i can still mantain a min of 4 days, then i can stay, which i doubt so, so think i would be leaving soon also, unless i change to be a packer which only needs to work on wkends. worst come to worst, resign and look for new jobs, if not go back to work at fun fair.

Met up with Ivan on fri early evening, had dinner with him and found out that shoon gone into DB.. well, think he deserve it for AWOLing, somemore at the wrong time. (very bad hor). but no choice, hope that after going in, he would learn a lesson and turn for the better. . anyway, think might drop by camp one of this days to take a look at hw messy the place would be and also to collect the polo t that i asked kangwei to buy for me.'

Think that's all for nw, later still have to work and then monday is the start of the sem's exam. die la, still havent study yet. well, dont know wat to study also, think just try my very best ba. .

back again after a long time away from bloging..

Wow.. today came online, went to my blog page and found out 1 thing.. it has been ard 3 mths since i last make an entry into my blog. Hehe.. well, it has been the lazyness that stops me from blogging.. everytime wanted to write something, but just too lazy to write. dont know y. another thing is that could be dont know wat to write, as everyday life is almost the same, early morning go to school, afterwhich would either come home to rest for a while before proceeding to work at Carrefour Plaza Sing.

Looking back at my last blog, which was during aug, after national day, and it was the 1st mth i started working at Plaza Sing, nw it has been ard 3 mths of working there. wow time really flies very fast. It seems like only yesterday i just started working.

Just a few updates for my friends who r wondering wat i've been doing so far, if there's any who r interested.. hehe.. hope there is. well, where shall i start, ok. i shall start telling abt my school life, it has been 6-7 wks into my new semester, for this sem, we got to cook by creative, which means that there r no demo on hw to cook and we would have to search for our own recepie with the tutor only telling us wat would be our ingredients for the day. sian man, have been seach high and low for the recepies. so far wat i've got to cook is quite nice, as in can be eaten. hehe. for this sem, we also got to learn different dishes as in indian, malay, chinese. for indian, we got to cook fish curry, briyani rice, for malay we got to learn beef redeng, roti jala, etc.. for chinese, got to learn hw to make po piah skin, po piah filling, stir fried black pepper chicken, etc.. later would be cooking chicken rice. hehe..

We also have to learn a bit of pastry baking, i got to learn hw to make fruit tart, choc chip cookies, butter cake, soft buns, etc.. In a few wks time, it would be exam period again, after which would be having a two wks holiday, then would be another new sem.

As for work, nw seems to be quite smooth going liao, those everyday product's code, i've remember them damm clearly.. my manager even comment me for my fast speed scanning.. hehe. but then nw, they've a new rule that we must report for work 15mins before the actual working time. if not would be considered late.

Well, think it would be all for nw, starting to feel tired liao, this must have been the longest blog that i've wrote. would update u ppl again. cheers. Thomas

Belated National Day Wishes

Yesterday was the SINGAPORE'S 39th birthday, but too bad, i was working last nite at carrefour, and was unable to watch the national day prarade. Then yesterday was also very busy, i thought everyone would be either staying at home or at the national stadium watching the parade. but no.. the whole nite was so busy with long queue. And causing me not being able to have a rest even for a minute.. Sian..

But even though it was a busy nite, the pay was double so it was not bad afterall. Yesterday i was being asked to open counter at level 1 again. The most busy level as it sells all those food stuff. But lucky yesterday manage to close at ard 1020. then after counting all the money, i found out that i was short of $2. sian, have to pay on the spot.

Don't know y also, yesterday was quite an unlucky day for me, it is that i keep dropping money onto the floor, then the whole coin container also drop. It could be this reason that i lost the $2.

As for today, it is another day of practical lesson, for today's menu, there wasnt any demo as yesterday was a public holiday, the teacher only told us the ingredients and the steps that was to be done on the friday's demo lesson, even though there wasn't any demo shown, most of us still manage to cook the menu wonderfully.. hehe. Tasted the menu myself and found that it was not bad.. haha.. self satistyed..

Off day

Haha. Finally a off day after three days of training as cashier and a day where i opened my own counter which was yesterday.. As usual, reported for work at 1745, found out that yong feng was on off yesterday. So no choice, couldnt get the PLU code that he promised to give us..

Was given a counter at B2, which was mostly all the electrical items, and was asked to open the express counter, which is only for customers who buys less than 10 items.

At the end of the day, when i was asked to close counter and count the money, i was the last to finish counting as got some problem . lets hope that tomolo would not have much problem again, lucky for me that there was no extra or less of cash.

Then today, i had food knowledge test, followed by POC, today we learnt two menu, one for tomolo and the other for tues, as monday is a public holiday so there wouldnt be any class.

Gd day..

Quite a gd day yesterday for me, last day of training as a cashier at Carrefour, later would be opening my own counter, lets hope that everything would go smoothly for me, and also that my counter would not have extra or less money, if not wouldnt be worth working liao..

Yesterday, for POC, learnt hw to cooking stew chicken, mushroom soup, and glaze veg. Hope that later i would be able to cook a nice dish out, hehe. Then yesterday, only got two class for me, one is CATERING SCIENCE, the other was as i said, POC.

Well, even though it was quite a gd day, it was also abit of tiring, from a whole day of standing at the counter. Think that's all for nw, would write again when i come back.

Tiring day.

Today was quite a fruitful but tiring day. Long day today, 1st in school, followed by new work at carrefour at plaza sing. Today learnt quite alot from my senior, they taught me hw to to cashiering job and had to remember lots of codes, hope that i can cope.

But one thing gd abt today is that only got 1 class today which is POC, which started early as food knowledge teacher is still not back. then today mr theow covered all the theory leasons from stock till meat deboning, and also thaught hw to cook lamb by braising.. tomolo would be our turn to cook.. hehe

Hope that i would no cock up tomolo practical. Then today also got the working timing for carrefour liao, only put me work 4 days.. tomolo going to tell him to put me more, cause need lots of money.. hehe

Been a long long time since i last blog.. dont know y, just feeling abite lazy.. hehe. Anyway, friday was a bad day, the teacher who was supposed to take us for lesson yesterday took a urgent leave, leaving us going to school for only half an hour, a waste on transport and time, could have slept in later..

For today, i would have to go to work at fish & co in the morning at 9.30, hope i would not be late. die la, tomolo somemore is i doing opening, long time nv do liao, hope havent lost touch, hehe. Anyway, hope that everything would go smoothly for me today.

Wasted day

Well, today was not quite a gd day but also not a bad day.. Lol. u ppl might think that i'm crazy or wat. Today actually only got one lesson in the morning, which is CATERING SCIENCE. And after the lesson would be home sweet home. BUt sad to say, as usual, all my classmates came into class at 9am, waiting for the teacher, Mr Alan Tan to come in to mark attendance and carry on with the lesson, but to everyone's suprise, another teacher came in and told the class that Mr Alan Tan took urgent leave and that the class would be cancelled.

U guys must be thinking that we were be very happy to hear that, but NO.. most of the class's face turn black, as they have to travel from the east to school early in the morning, having to wake up at 0530 or later. and in the end find the teacher not in class. Whew, lucky for me, i stayed nearby..

Well, as for the gd part of the day was that i got the cashier job at carrefour and today went over to Suntec to collect my uniform and also took the photo for the staff pass. And would be starting work on monday, lets hope that class would end early on monday, as i dont wish to be late for work on the 1st day.

Well, think that's all for today, shall report farer abt my life tomolo. Tomolo morning still got practical lesson and also i would be working at FISH & CO tomolo too.

Time wasting

Hi all,

Today was a fruitless but partly fruitful day.. Firstly, today actually only have a lesson in the morning, which is CATERING SCIENCE. Everyone was there waiting in class for the teacher, Mr Alan Tan to come in to class. But at 9am, another teacher came in and told the class that Alan Tan was on urgent leave which means that the lesson is being cancelled.

U guys might think that all of us would be damm happy as there's no class. But NO.. all of them their face turn black. must be wondering y rite. Cause most of them stay in the east and they had to spend on transport and also having to wake up early to rush to school, then turn out to be in class only for half an hour and dismissed..

Whew, lucky for me, i stay nearby, but well, it was really a wasted trip. i could have slept longer or even plan for other programs. Anyway, wat a wasted day.

Bad things aside, nw for the happy part was that i got the job as a cashier at carrefour and would be starting work on monday, hehe. Hope that class would not end late on monday, as i've to reach plaza singapura by 1730.

Hi ppl,

It's been quite a few wks since i last wrote a post.. Sorry huh. Dont know y, just feeling too lazy to write. hehe..

Well, the past wks have been quite smooth going for me, can u imagine, this is already the 4th wk of my course, in 5 wks time, would be the dateline for the projects to be handed up and in 6 wks time, would be the exams.. Time really flies, i just feel that i only started course yesterday. No matter wat, it's the only truth that this is the 4th wk and it's about time i buck up and really study damm hard.

So far, for my course, i've learnt hw to cook soup, make sauces, and today we learnt hw to debone a chicken. u ppl might think that it's easy, but when it comes to real task, sweat keeps dripping, one thing, scare that would cut my hand, lol.. well, just have to be careful. Then we also learnt hw to fillet a sea bass. Finally can learn some real skills. haha.

And nxt wk, we would finally start cooking the main course. haha. after learning the skill, i'm going to put it to test on my friends.. hehe

Sauces, sauces, sauses..

Today was a fun day, had practical lessons today, learning hw to make different type of salad dressing, learnt hw to make tatar, mayo, salsa, etc.. Nw then i know hw hard all this sauces are to be made. The process is long and tiring. so the lesson learnt is nv to waste products, even if it's a sauce... Lol.. Just joking.

I love lessons on tues, thurs, and sat. only practical. hehe. then if we do the task fast and everyone gets together to clean up the kitchen fast, then we can call it a day. but today, sad to say, someone in my group nv coperate. Instead of helping to clean up and wait for the teacher to finish inspecting, he left for home, making us clear up his shit.. F***ing bustard. I'm sure he would be rewarded... with demerit points... If not it would be unfair for the rest of us. Normally, my class which is divided into two groups, and i'm in the 1st group would finish and end the lesson earlier than the other, but because of this bustard, today the class end at 1pm, later than the other.

Other than the lesson today, my project group had a gathering today, we discussed abt the project for food, and gathered all the informations abt the topic that we had wanted to do, and found out that it was not easy, so in the end decided to change a different topic, so in the end, all the effort was wasted, but not really, at least we learnt somethings from the 1st topic that we wanted to do. The discussion was quite a short one though, and the nxt meeting was decided to be nxt tues.

Tkink that's all for today, tomolo still got class, and can u imagine, tomolo would be getting the chef uniform too. hehe, finally

Back from School

Haha. finally back from a tiring day from school. Started at 8 in the morning till 5 in the evening. Boring day today, well, everyday's boring in school. who would like to go to lesson, especially when there's subjects which r damm dry, Like food knowledge, learning all sorts of food, the parts of an animals, etc... Somemore when the teacher is a boring one, who nv jokes.

Early in the morning was IT lesson, today learn abt powerpoint presentation, boring and stupid. Today also got back the proficency test result, and guess wat, out of the whole class, only 5 got 75% pass and i'm one of them.. hehe. U ppl must be thinking y i'm so happy, cause those who got 75% and above would be exempted from the IT lesson and then just need to sit for the end of term exam. But i think some of the lessons i would still sit in, as i'm not stable with my theory.

Followed by IT, was the boring food knowledge lesson, a 3 hr long lesson. Today in this class, learn abt all types of fish; white fish, oily fish, flat fish, rd fish, seawater fish, freshwater fish. sian... But wat to do, it's part of the things a CHEF need to know.

Today's kitchen demo was another theory lesson, as tomolo then the teacher would teach to make the sauces for salad hope that tomolo would be an interesting one. Think that's all for today. Till then.

First time

Well, today shall be the 1st day i'm starting to blog. Also not sure wat to write, well, think shall just write abt hw i spent my days starting from today. Today was quite a relax day for me, slept till 11 today as there's no class on sundays.. hehe. woke up, when to had my breakfast plus lunch, can save up by having two meals in one go instead of buying two meals hehe.. Afterwhich, finally got into some sense of clearing up my messy room, after being nag by my parents for sometime, very bad hor. But after doing the clearing up and found out that there's three big bagful of rubbish that has been stacking up all the while, after throwing them away found that my room is much cleaner and nicer to look at. hehe.
After a fruitful day of clearing up, manage to catch some breath watching TV programs on channel u till nw. Boring bit is tomolo morning still have to go to school, somemore is whole day starting from 8 am. Hope that i can manage to wake up on time and not be late.
